Jamie Condliffe was until recently a committed research scientist. Now, he’s not so sure.

He has a degree in Engineering Science and recently finished his D.Phil in Medical Engineering, both at the University of Oxford. His D.Phil research was based around ultrasound imaging; his research interests span image and signal analysis, theoretical acoustics, and drug dissolution and uptake in the human body. He is currently a College Lecturer at Somerville College, Oxford, where he teaches parts of the Engineering Science undergraduate course.

Jamie is currently working towards an MSc in Science Communication at Imperial College London, concentrating on web and print media . He also volunteers at Science Oxford, and has in the past contributed to their program of events.

In his spare time, he cooks rather too much, and occasionally updates a food blog called Addicted To Pi. You can follow on twitter at jme_c.
